The UAPL theory test is a requirement for obtaining an Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) in Singapore. You are required to pass the theory test prior to practical assessment.
The test covers 6 knowledge areas on:
General UAS Knowledge
Principles of Flight
Air Law
Navigation and Meteorology
Human Factors
Safety and Operations
It is not mandatory but you are encouraged to complete a training course with any approved UA Training and Assessment Organisations (UATO) to acquire the relevant theoretical knowledge.
You can attend training with any approved UA Training and Assessment Organisations (UATO).

There are 50 questions.
You need to achieve a minimum of 75% test score to pass.
The duration is 1.5 hours.
You will not be allowed to attempt the UAPL practical assessment. Passing the UAPL theory test is a prerequisite.
Yes, you are allowed 2 test attempts within a period of one month.
The fee is S$125 for each test or re-test.
A pass in the theory test is valid for 24 months.
If it is your first attempt, create a CAPELS account to obtain the CAPELS PID number. It is required for the theory test and practical assessment identification purposes.
